What is RSV?
RSV is a new option in your Otis 3.0 management system that gives you the freedom to offer blended training with live, online remote skills verification. With RSV, students benefit from real-time feedback and guidance from instructors to correctly demonstrate the required skills and complete certification. RSV is remote and handled entirely through your Otis 3.0 platform.

How RSV Works
RSV is a fully-integrated portal that delivers remote hands-on skills verification with blended training options, available 24-7 through your Otis 3.0 platform. HSI handles the scheduling, email notifications and digital certification delivery upon completion. You choose which RSV options makes the most sense for you and your students.

It’s as easy as:
  • Selecting a course for your student and entering their information
  • Choosing a hands-on skills component delivery method
  • Conducting the live, online hands-on skills verification

Medic First Aid/HSI Adult CPR, AED and First Aid class options are available for RSV now.

Emergency Oxygen Administration (Also Approved for Divers)
Serious and life-threatening medical emergencies often cause oxygen to be depleted in the body leaving the victim at risk for shock. The MEDIC First Aid Emergency Oxygen program focuses on administering emergency oxygen to breathing and non-breathing persons, emergency oxygen delivery systems and integrating pulse oximetry.

Basic First Aid
The ASHI Basic First Aid course helps students develop basic first aid knowledge, skills, and the confidence to respond. This first aid training program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and conforms to the 2015 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.

  • Intended for individuals who are not healthcare providers or professional rescuers but desire, or are required, to be certified in basic emergency medical care.

ASHI Advanced First Aid
The ASHI Advanced First Aid course is designed for the person who needs or desires more first aid training than Basic First Aid, but not to the level of Emergency Medical Response. Perfect for corporate emergency response teams, this 17-21 hour Advanced First Aid certification course presents many of the most common illnesses and injuries responders are likely to encounter.

This Advanced First Aid training course is designed for non-EMS responders including government, corporate, industry, lifeguards, security personnel, law enforcement, corrections personnel, and other individuals who are not EMS or healthcare providers, but desire or require certification in Advanced First Aid.
Prerequisites
    • Current, valid professional-level BLS certification (Basic Life Support). May be incorporated/conducted in conjunction with the AFA program as needed.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

ASHI's Basic Life Support, BLS for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

Bloodborne Pathogens
ASHI's Bloodborne Pathogens training program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. This bloodborne pathogens certification course assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030).

CPR and AED
ASHI's CPR and AED training course is designed specifically for laypeople, and is an excellent choice for CPR and defibrillator training in both community and workplace settings.
